There are good reasons for claiming that Kind Of Blue is not just the greatest jazz album ever made, but one of the greatest albums ever made in any genre. It’s (almost?) flawless.
And when the sublime combination of Davis, Coltrane, Bill Evans and co performed live, well, that wasn’t too shabby either:
